All sponsorship needs to be added onto your team's online Giving Page by 31st October 2018 for it to be counted in the running for the prize of top fundraising team. The supporter will not need to do anything else once the money is on this page as it will pay in automatically.
If you are unable to pay money onto your online Giving Page, please send a cheque to: The Great Golf Challenge, Cancer Research UK, PO Box 1561, Oxford, OX4 9GZ stating the Giving Page you would like this to be deposited to. Please note any offline sponsorship that is not added onto your Giving Page by 31st October 2018 will not be counted toward the competition prize.
Absolutely! If you’ve set up a Giving Page it’ll remain active until 2019 so your supporters can continue to donate for as long as you want to continue during this period.
We recommend you should play off the forward tees to save time but it's up to you and your team.
The team with the most sponsorship on their team Giving Page by 31st October will be rewarded with the prize. Individual Giving Pages will need to be part of a team page (maximum 4 players) for it to be counted. If you have any problems setting up a team Giving Page then please contact our support centre at onlinefundraisingqueries@cancer.org.uk.
You will have to pay for your rounds of golf unless your golf course says otherwise. We advise you to speak you your club and let them know you’re raising money for Cancer Research UK, they may help by cutting your green fees.
